Welcome to Ganapit
guide
This site is dedicated to saving money painlessly while making things beautiful just by following simple guidelines.
Using items from around the house and recreating them into something new and useful. The idea is to clear out sheds, garages, closets and junk drawers in the quest for a beautiful recycled object before any money is spent.
Make the project easy. Getting the effect you want with less hassle by using glue and staples to replace sewing for example. Stay within a comfortable skill level so the project will not seem overwhelming.
If an item doesn’t work find one that does. You can use something found at a garage sale or you can have swap meets where each person brings an item to trade for another.
Most important, the finished project has to look good. Painting warped veneer will do nothing to beautify a dresser anymore than using mismatched fabric will freshen up a sofa and chair.
With these basic ideas any project, from home décor, yard design and even birthday parties and weddings can cost less. A beautifully decorated home or elegant wedding is much more enjoyable with no bills to mar the effect.
